The last week or so has been crazy! We took Jaeger to the beach, when we got home he kept sneezing and "blowing" out of his nose. I then realized he had a hard bump on his nose. We took him to the vet, she gave him some cortisone and benadryl...which the benadryl we were already giving him. We could already tell a huge difference the next day. After this went away, he started having diarrhea..Lovely, right? Soooo I figured it was from the benadryl, nope...wasn't it. After camping out on the floor with him (to make sure he didn't get dehydrated during the night) Lots of rice and chicken, canned pumpkin, ice cubes, and pedialyte....he pooped out a PINE CONE! Yep, a pine cone. Ok, so no sneezing or bump, check. No upset belly, check. THEN a few days later he decides to smell a bee....stung him right on the chin. We acted fast, gave him the benadryl, held ice on it to the way to Walgreens to pick up some baking soda to put on his chin. Do you know how hard it is to keep baking soda on a chewing puppies chin??? The next day it was 98% better. FINALLY this dog is better and cured from everything! Or not....he lost quite a few puppy teeth in the last 2 weeks, and 2 just in one day...so he decided to eat some cloth off his toy, we didn't realize it until after the fact...sooo more stressing out, more canned pumpkin, and more monitoring his poop for the next two days to see if he passed it all....he did thankfully. We did NOT was to spend 1-2 thousand on a dog to have a toy taken out of his stomach lol I guess needless to say we are going to have to get a muzzle for when he goes outside until he outgrows this stage, he just tries to eat EVERYTHING! But hes a very good, loyal puppy and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world...he makes me laugh everyday :)
Other than that mine and Tylors lives have been pretty boring. lol We took a ride out in the mountains the other day and I LOVED it! I think I would like Washington way more if I lived more out in the country than in the city like we do now. Sigh, maybe one day. We went to the scenic railroad and ate dinner on a train that was turned into a resturant..it was really neat. I had my first elk burger lol. I finally got in some girl time! My first friend haha too bad neither of us can drive right now even though we have working vehicles...figures. lol Speaking of my car, it got done today, FINALLY!!! I can't wait to get it up here and look for a job! I miss having my own money so much and having to double check with Tylor to buy something...not that he ever says no, but I just miss having "my" money. lol Tylor started his new job today, I'm very excited for him and hope he likes it. It's a 3 year job, and he will work 2 days, have 3 days off, then work 3 days...or something like that lol I'm happy he will be home more. Tylors mother is coming in October, then I'm going home the month of November, I can't wait! I can't believe I've made it 3 whole months here so far, I'm proud of myself haha Some days it seems like I've been here forever, and other days its not too bad. An approvement from the first month, for sure! Well I have a dog and cat to feed and a kitchen to clean....Hopefully next time I write I won't have any "dog problems" to talk about lol
